How to enable IMAP on Sylpheed in Gentoo Linux

in Gentoo Linux you need to add IMAP to the USE variable in the make.conf, to get IMAP to work in Sylpheed mail client

• libetpan is required
  • emerge libetpan

• Edit /etc/make.conf
• Add imap to USE="....."

  if you don't have USE in you make.conf, add a line USE="imap"

This works with Sylpheed and Sylpheed-claws
